CWB: In 2009 GIE Ventures partnered with Chicago Weather Brokerage to
bring the ability to better manage your snow business revenues and
profits Snowfall Options traded on the CME Group Exchange.
In 2011, GIE Ventures, CWB and the CME Group pioneered the
introduction of rainfall options. These options, like snowfall options,
allow companies with risk associated with high or low rainfall to manage
their revenues and profits more effectively.
